You are the true Ray of Light

Here is the first ever poem that I wrote for Lisa Ray… to be honest, even though I love poetry, the last time that I’ve written a poem before this was more than 3 years ago. I guess when someone moved and inspired you, the poetry in every person just keeps flowing…


You are the true Ray of Light...

In my eyes there were two dry tears
One of joy and one of sorrow
Learning of thy lot and comparing with mine
From thee I forgot my petty pain

How you live courageously in the Yellow path
Reminding that adversity is a journey to thread
That opens up Life’s celebration and gift

Now there are two over-flowing tears in my eyes
Of immense happiness of having you back
Of unconditional love for you…

Your willful soul let’s out the shine within
Turning dust into gold,
Unconsciousness into awareness
You have a heap of over-flowing strength
That crosses barriers and boundaries

People of different tongues
Never letting the hurdle of expression stop
They speak in different languages of love
In awe, in support, touched deep by your marrow

My pulse beats double
It hasn’t been for a long while
Thinking last year was a waste
Up until little feelings of affections seeps in
Unconditional, open and at the same time restless

Sending earnest prayers here and there
Thoughts of care, warmth and infinite power
To wield into thy new body and already amazing soul
Regenerating your every cell with everlasting health
Supporting the vision of you plowing your claim
In that glorious mountaintop

You put sunshine into shame
For the true gleam is not on the obvious light
It’s in the radiance even when things are dim
In that discomforting winter of test
You are the true Ray of Light…
